The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for breakdown repairs on conveyors, belts, plc's, robots, high speed lines and packaging machinery. Will undertake installation and project work and carry out continuous improvement. Will also be working on PLC programming (ideally Siemens Step 5 and Step 7) with invertors and compressors. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Minimum Requirements: - To apply for this position you will have a City and Guilds or ONC in electrical engineering, be a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (Time Served or Indentured). Have at least 5 years experience of Electrical Engineering, at least some of which must be in a production line environment. Ideally have a proven track record in maintenance, fault finding and repair of complex PLC controlled electrical machinery and be computer literate to a basic standard. QUALIFICATIONS: electrical engineer (Have up to date 16th IEE Regulations qualification. Have a City & Guilds PAT testing qualification)
