Nursery World, the leading weekly magazine for the early years education and childcare sector, needs an art editor to work with and develop our brand-new design. You will be responsible for: * the look and feel of Nursery World magazine and its regular supplements and posters * designing pages to weekly deadlines * commissioning and sourcing photos and illustrations We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic art editor, who has: * sound experience of magazine design * good knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator * experience of commissioning photographers and illustrators, plus picture research * a creative yet disciplined approach * ability to work to tight deadlines * self-motivation and good teamworking * excellent organisational skills * an interest in our subject matter
