Do you have Rheumatoid Arthritis? We need male and female volunteers aged 18-65 who have Rheumatoid Arthritis. If you fit this criterion we would like to hear from you. Thanks to people like you, advances in medicines are happening everyday. And as someone with arthritis, you know what a difference they can make to your quality of life. But these advances are only possible with the help of human volunteers. People like you. As a volunteer you can make a difference and receive up to £2500 for your time. Covance Clinical Research based in Leeds, West Yorkshire carries out clinical trials on behalf of the world's leading pharmaceutical organisations. As more drugs are being discovered more people are needed to participate in clinical trials. Our friendly and professional team of doctors, nurses and other personnel are experienced in running clinical trials and will look after you during your stay with us. Studies can last anywhere from a couple of days to several weeks and will consist of residential and non-residential visits. Volunteers will need to adhere to certain restrictions for example dietary, alcohol and exercise. During your time at Covance, you can spend your free time as you wish. Conduct of studies: A group of medically trained staff (including doctors and nurses) will look after your safety during your participation in these studies. All our studies are carried out under the strict safety guidelines issued by the Royal College of Physicians. We meet the standards set by the UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and other relevant regulatory bodies. Each study is approved by an Independent Ethics Committee, a group of people composed of professionals (including doctors) and lay people. Your GP will be advised of all studies you participate in.
